The two year BA course is being run in conjunction with the University of Falmouth and British musical education specialists E-Mu, reports Music Radar. Earlier this year, a new heavy metal degree at Nottingham’s New College was criticised by leading education campaigners. The two-year course offers students the opportunity to learn how to compose and perform heavy metal music. However, the Campaign for Real Education hit out at the course and the college; labelling it an “easy option”.
