Today’s post is for anyone interested in taking college-level composition courses without actually having to go to a college or pay for it. Both the Saylor Foundation and the University of the People host two-course sequences in English Composition–online, tuition-free, and available to everyone. Although these non-profit organizations are unaccredited and the courses don’t lead to a degree, ENGL 001/002 (at Saylor) and ENGL 0101/1102 (at the University of the People) have been designed by experienced professors of English.
