LSU-Shreveport was without electricity, and school officials said it would likely remain that way for another week.dThe college reportedly lost power briefly during Wednesday’s storm nearly two weeks ago, but the power was restored later that day. However, power went down again early Saturday after a failure of the main power feed. The outage forced LSUS administrators to order a repair that they planned to perform during the spring break vacation, LSUS Public Relations Director Jennifer Steadman said. She said workers were able to restore the university’s virtual learning environment website, Moodle, to online status as well as the school’s email. While the campus was expected to remain without power while repairs are made, classes were not canceled and continued via Moodle and through student email.
