Online classes are becoming a trend in today’s society. Although some frown on the concept, online classes can bridge a gap in a child’s learning and actually meet some of the needs that aren’t getting met in a traditional classroom setting. Online learning helps students focus and provides one-on-one interaction more consistently. Students are also able to bond more with a teacher and therefore become more open and less distracted by others – no peer impressions. I wouldn’t be surprised if school districts began using online schools to help with budget cuts, since this is a cheaper alternative.
