Educators love and loathe different aspects of online learning – but the results speak for themselves. The latest example: In one Chicago school district, 50 middle school students took an online math class in the summer of 2010. The online course essentially crammed a year’s worth (two full semesters) of math into six weeks. Result: Those 50 students did roughly as well as other students in their next math course the following fall semester!
