One may not find many female students in IIT and engineering college campuses, but as many as 2 lakh women in the country have enrolled for online technology courses on Coursera, one of the largest online education platforms. “We are seeing more and more women in India applying for unconventional courses like technology over the last year or so,” said Julia Stiglitz, vice-president for business development and international relations at Coursera.
