A record number of students are learning online at Miami University’s regional campuses, and the quality of its digital “classes” are now ranked 18th best in Ohio, according to a recent survey. According to the recent rankings by Best Online Colleges, the combined Middletown and Hamilton regional Miami campuses were 18th best in the state, improving from its 20th ranking in 2015. The online learning program is also growing in popularity with students, said regional college officials. “We’ve had a 26 percent increase in students enrolled in online courses,” said Brennan Burks, spokesman for the two schools.
