Webcams used to be only as good as the cord that would take it. Now, wireless technology has evolved with smaller and lighter versions giving the user the ability to monitor an entire house or part of their neighborhood. “I like it, but it worries me because the technology is so small,” said UC Davis computer professor Matt Bishop. “It gives people new ways to spy or monitor, depending on which term suits you.” The latest webcam made by Vue is as light as a hummingbird and runs on a camera battery.
