But new technology is promising to change the way we watch TV even more. “Controlling my content and setting up my DVR and watching from any room or when I’m away from home, those are things that you can do today and we’re really building on that going forward,” Jeff Weber, vice president of AT&T U-verse, said. The future of television is shaping up to be really cool. A suite of applications, games, DVRs, on-demand video, 3-D, even augmented reality.
