The Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C), an association of institutions and organizations of higher education engaged in online learning, will present its 2010 awards at the 16th Annual International Conference on Asynchronous Learning Networks: The Power of Online Learning: Stimulating New Possibilities in Orlando, Florida, Thursday, November 4, 2010. “The investments made in online learning are paying real dividends as enrollments continue to soar,” said Bruce Chaloux, President of Sloan-C: “Our watchwords of quality, scale and breadth are epitomized by individuals and institutions we honor this year.” Burks Oakley II, Chair of the Awards Committee, added, “The 2010 recipients all have demonstrated exceptional leadership and real success in advancing online education.”
