Pico Projectors – Gateway to M-Learning Future

Pico projectors use a DLP technology (first released by Texas Instruments) that enables a personal projector that is very small (the size of a cell phone).  It runs on batteries and can be combined with a cell phone (as Samsung has done) to create the first mobile learning tool that will enable detailed work (such as LMS) using a device that will fit in your pocket or purse.  The potential of this technology – first released in November of 2008 – is enormous.  We will see costs coming down (currently about $250-$350) and applications improving in the coming months.
