EDUCAUSE recently released its first Information Security Edition of the Horizon Report, profiling important trends, technologies and practices shaping the future of IT security and privacy in higher education. Of course, cybersecurity has been a key concern in higher ed IT for years, topping the EDUCAUSE top 10 IT issues list numerous times. But the COVID-19 pandemic has compounded the risks in many ways.
