Online courses now account for 12 percent of the total hours being delivered at Spoon River College, according to Missy Wilkinson, interim dean of student services. Wilkinson reported at March 28 meeting of the SRC Board of Trustees that online courses have become increasingly popular with students. A total of 401 students are now taking at least one online course. The development of additional online courses will continue to be explored, she added.
