Teacher honored for online instruction Math teacher is part of statewide initiative - Ann Arbor News
A full-time job as a mathematics teacher at Hartland Middle School at Ore Creek is just part of Melanie Laber's current teaching work. She was recently honored as one of three state finalists for Michigan Virtual University's first Online Teacher of the Year Award. That honor was won by a college professor who teaches forensic science classes online.
