iTunes U now offering documentaries and more - Jon-Michael St. Amant, the Pacer UT Martin
iTunes U is not a new service to students at UTM, but with recent additions Apple, Inc. has made to this particular feature it is becoming a much stronger tool.... Many of these changes in the over arching iTunes U network were made possible due to updates to the iTunes service by Apple. Last year the company integrated movies into the iTunes service. Now, this change is beginning to trickle down into iTunes U in many different forms. Since the emergence of movies on iTunes many new people are taking the opportunity to upload documentaries onto the iTunes U section. These educational films are from students and professors from all sorts of campuses including U.C. Berkley, Stanford and Yale.In addition to documentaries other campuses have also included video lectures on all sorts of topics. Students can watch esteemed professors from top ranking universities across the nation give lectures from topics ranging from fine arts to technology.
