Online classes work for some students: Sioux Falls plans to expand program this fall - Jon Walker, Argus-Leader
High school biology generally means some homework, and for Breanna Bass this summer, it was all homework. She and fellow students said hello to their teacher the first day of class in June, then didn't come back as a group until the final exam. In between, she did her assignments and asked for help - all by home computer. Bass was one of 134 students in five online summer courses the Sioux Falls district offered. The district began the program last spring and will expand it this fall at all high schools.
