OU unveils ‘hybrid’ business degree - Kirsten Stanley, The Ironton Tribune
A new type of degree will be offered this winter at Ohio University Southern, the first so-called “hybrid” program and the first to be geared specifically toward working professionals. The new Proctorville center — scheduled to open to students in January — will be hosting the executive business management degree series, a two-year program that combines a lot of online learning with just a small amount of classroom time. Kim Riley, OUS director of business technologies, said the business management degree has been offered for years at the OUS campus, but this will be the first time students will have so much flexibility in the way they complete it.
