Wilkes Links with Internet2 High Speed Internet Service
Wilkes University is now a subscriber to the nation’s high-speed internet service, Internet2, a not-for-profit consortium exclusively for primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, libraries and museums. The membership network gives Wilkes students and faculty access to databases, distance learning programs and current research initiatives of member institutions, including cutting-edge biomedical research. The campus community can also participate in live conferences via the Internet2 research channel on the Wilkes network.
