An online education - Jonathan Knutson, The Forum
Cory Mattson and Brittany Berg are studying for a psychology test. Their textbooks are open, their personal computers turned on. But their teacher is 30 miles away. Mattson and Berg are among six Hawley High School seniors taking an online college psychology class this fall. The class is part of the Northwest Minnesota’s Online College in the High School pilot program launched this fall. The program gives high school juniors and seniors a chance to take college-level classes for credit.
