Instructional software wins honors for Hope psychology professor - John Burdick, Holland Sentinel
Applying the latest computer and Internet technology for teaching psychology has earned a Hope College professor national recognition. Tom Ludwig will receive the Charles L. Brewer Distinguished Teaching of Psychology Award at the American Psychological Foundation's national convention in Washington, D.C., in August. "It's the Heisman Trophy for the teaching of psychology," said Ludwig's colleague, Hope psychology professor David Myers. "Tom is highly deserving of this honor," said Patricia Roehling, chairwoman of the psychology department. "He is an excellent teacher and, indirectly, he has taught thousands of students with his innovative psychology software programs."
