Games that make leaders: top researchers on the rise of play in business and education - Jason Stitt and Les Chappell, Wisconsin Technology Network
If the last video game you played was Pac-Man, you might have missed the advances that turned games into immersive training tools for skilled professionals and leaders. Three University of Wisconsin-Madison professors, among the top researchers in learning through game-playing, explained the advantages of games over traditional teaching tools Thursday evening. Ed Meachan, CIO of the UW System, called their research one of the better-kept secrets of the university.
