Cal State Fresno Department of Criminology Alliance for e-Learning Tools for Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Victimology Professionals

FacePrint Global Solutions, Inc. a developer and marketer of advanced technology identity solutions and related products, announced today that it has formed a strategic alliance with the Department of Criminology at California State University, Fresno. This alliance will develop next-generation e-learning tools for law enforcement, corrections, and victimology professionals. These e-learning tools will be marketed by FacePrint under the brand name Criminal Justice Institute(TM). Many of the education platforms currently used by budget-constrained agencies in the law enforcement, corrections, and victimology communities are costly and found to be wanting in their effectiveness. High costs result not from the cost of courses, but from the expenses related to missed work time, travel, and meals for course attendees, and overtime paid to employees covering for course attendees.
