Distance learning helps teacher continue instructing - MARCUS TANTILLO, Citizen reporter
Larry Hovey, an instructor at San Jacinto College South, takes advantage of the distance learning opportunities at the college. Hovey recently accepted a position on the Regional Computer Forensics Lab so he is unable to continue classroom instruction. He said had to stop teaching classes at the school because his training is keeping him out of the area. But, he is still able to continue teaching his spreadsheet design class though distance learning because students complete their assignments and testing online.
