College by keyboard: Online programs draw adult learners to higher learning - Charlie Breitrose - Metro West Daily News
Working a full-time job that requires a lot of business travel, a traditional night college MBA program wasn't right for John Dubil. But Dubil found a program run by Babson College that allows him to do most of the work on his laptop computer. In 27 months, Dubil and others in Babson's Fast Track MBA program will earn their master's in business administration having only attended classes on the college campus for three days each month. "Distance learning is right for me," said Dubil, a Needham resident who works for Fidelity Investments. "Now, nobody works 9-to-5, so the ability to go to every class on a given night isn't possible."
