Virtual laboratories, cheaper exam fees, e-learning cafes and customised gap training - these are the innovations two of the nation's largest IT trainers will use to keep people churning through their turnstiles. Although John Rogers, Spherion's director of Human Capital Solutions, has been in the job only 14 months, he will oversee one of the training company's biggest changes in its 34-year history. Within 60 days it will start testing its new "virtual laboratories" that allow its computer-based training curriculum to become locationally independent via e-learning over the internet.
