Soldiers laud online college - JOHN WELSH, Pioneer Press
Minnesota National Guard soldiers serving overseas are now getting a chance to earn college credits. Since last fall, citizen soldiers have been able to participate in an online learning program developed by the Guard and the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. So far, the program is most popular with soldiers serving in peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and Kosovo, but two soldiers serving in Iraq have signed up.
