Return on Investment in Traditional Versus Distributed Learning - Robert Owen, Bosede Aworuwa; DEC 2003
Both instructors and administrators have embraced the use of online technologies in recent years; we no longer must appeal for greater use of technology. The time has come, however, to assess the tradeoffs in the costs and benefits of online technologies. This article attempts to sort out what we do know at this point with regard to online technology uses, benefits, outcome measurement , and costs.
