ITT Educational's enrollment, profits surged in '03 - J.K. Wall, Indianapolis Star
A wave of student enrollments fueled better-than-expected profits at ITT Educational Services in 2003, and prompted the company to raise its profit forecasts for 2004. Total enrollment rose 14.6 percent in 2003 versus 2002, the Indianapolis-based company reported Thursday. In the fourth quarter, ended Dec. 31, enrollments jumped 29.3 percent compared with the same quarter a year ago.... ITT Educational's online MBA program, which launched in the fall, now is approved in 44 states. Overall, online enrollments stand at 1,100. ITT Educational enrolls 37,000 students total.
