New position helps nurse focus on service and education - Lisa Waterman Gray, Kansas City Nursing News
Sue Pingleton, MS, RN, will take six weeks of vacation this winter, without causing any disruption in her work schedule. She is an education coordinator for and full-time employee of North Kansas City Hospital who functions as a consultant/affiliate faculty member/affiliate professor for several area nursing programs, including those at William Jewell College, Graceland University and Johnson County Community College.... "I co-taught 'Nursing in the 21st Century' last summer, with Claudia Horton, MSN, RN, and associate dean at Graceland University. I am currently teaching a master's level course at Graceland, in curricular design, and a distance-learning course, and I will co-teach 'Nursing in the 21st Century' again, next summer.
