Virtual libraries open for queries - MARY PICKETT, Billings Gazette
The virtual reference library links students and librarians at Rocky Mountain College and Montana State University-Billings. Through the electronic service, librarians answer questions from not only students and faculty but community members as well. The service was created for several reasons, according to Jan Jelinek, Rocky's head librarian. The Internet has a wealth of information and can be useful to students. But some information found there is questionable. And the volume of information also makes it difficult to sift through.
