Students using Internet to cheat, profs using it to catch them - Associated Press
Technology has made cheating easier than ever, but a University of New Hampshire professor says it also can help catch students stealing material from the Internet. A recent report by UNH Professor Mark Wrighton says about 10 plagiarism cases are caught each year at the university's College of Liberal Arts - a relatively low number compared to the volume of papers written - but probably not the true number of incidents. "I don't think we know the true extent of it," Wrighton said.
