Cheating, plagiarism could be increasing on college campuses - Julie Dickerson, North Texas Daily Reporter
It just might be academia's worst kept dirty little secret. According to information revealed during a recent video conference hosted by NT, 45 percent of students agreed that a person has to lie or cheat sometimes to get ahead; 53 percent of college-bound high school students feel that cheating is no big deal; 74 percent of students admitted to serious cheating on at least one occasion in school; and 95 percent of students who cheated were never caught.
