Mr. Brian Mueller, Chief Executive Officer of the University of Phoenix Online was interviewed by Dr. Farhad Saba, Editor-In-Chief of Distance-Educator.com.... Mr. Brian Mueller: While we are not able to answer why other schools have failed, we believe our success lies in meeting the needs of the adult learner with time constraints who can benefit from the education and services offered by the University of Phoenix Online. As mentioned above, our programs are structured to provide a particular type of experience that has direct value in the workplace. We also have expended a great deal of energy and money in training our instructors on the facilitation of a productive online classroom.
