Georgia College & State University Takes Distance Learning to a New Level - Anthony Delli Colli, eLearning Magazine
When asked about the role of technology at Georgia College & State University (GC&SU), CIO Jim Wolfgang says, "It's all about innovation." What does the CIO of a liberal arts university in rural Georgia know about technology? Plenty. Dr. Wolfgang and his team view technology as a way to fulfill the school's motto: "Learning24 hours a day for life." Technology is not some abstract theory at GC&SU. In fact, this small university is finding new and creative uses for technology that not only enhance the on-campus educational experience, but moves learning out of the classroom and into the community."
