Blended Learning Boosts Workforce Productivity, Says NETg - LearningCircuits

Just how much more effective is a blended learning program than a single training option? Up to 50 percent better, says Thomson Corporation's NETg. NETg reports that the second phase of the Thomson Job Impact Study reveals that a blended learning program incorporating a combination of e-learning, online instruction, simulations, texts, mentor and instructor support, and live classroom-based training can yield an impressive increase in on-the-job performance over single training methods. Called the "Next Generation of Corporate Learning," the study measures the effectiveness of various blended learning options, and adds further proof that a well-defined blended learning approach results in greater workforce productivity, says NETg.
