Academic Publishing Goes Online - EMMA SCHWARTZ, Daily Cal
Finding an outlet to publish their articles has long been the bane of academics. Now, a UC-wide online publication project offers a way for scholars to publish their work faster and more easily. The UC International and Area Studies Digital Collection launched the first online resource for academic publishing this semester. Unlike other online initiatives, the project follows the same editorial review as print publications, said David Leonard, UC Berkeley International and Area Studies dean. http://repositories.cdlib.org/uciaspubs
