Public Relations Students Prefer Internet Readings over Printed Textbooks - David Geary, Virtual Univ. Gazette
College students may prefer to learn from the Internet instead of from a traditional printed textbook. A Public relations class last year at the University of New Mexico replaced its traditional print textbook with one that used Internet materials instead. Students in the course rated the Internet text class at 91 percent over 58 percent for the textbook class. Other measures of course satisfaction also went up dramatically, according to course instructor David L. Geary.
