Professor Offers Online Bibliography of Research on Aristotle to College Libraries - Brock Read, the Chronicle
"I don't think anyone's had more influence in philosophy, and perhaps in other areas, than Aristotle," argues Richard Ingardia, a professor of philosophy at St. John's University, in New York. The proof, Mr. Ingardia says, lies in a project to which he has devoted eight years: an electronic bibliography that aims to collect citations to all research conducted in the past century on the Greek philosopher. At present, Mr. Ingardia's Aristotle Bibliography includes information on more than 45,000 articles, books, reviews, and doctoral dissertations, most of which the professor compiled himself by canvassing reviews, journals, and existing databases of Aristotle resources. http://www.aristotlebibliography.com/
