An Interactive Web Site Offers Students a Whimsical Introduction to Psychology - BROCK READ, the Chronicle

As even armchair psychologists know, the human brain is a dense network of impulses and perceptions. It's only fitting, then, that general psychology courses parallel the brain's complexity, argues Gary L. Bradshaw, an associate professor of psychology at Mississippi State University. That can be difficult to do with traditional textbooks, which focus on terms and techniques but often fail to reflect the non-linear nature of the brain, according to Mr. Bradshaw. But he says the Internet has allowed him to present the study of psychology as a dynamic journey on ePsych, an online teaching tool he designed.
