Georgia Distance learning offers Sept. 11 class - MATT BARNWELL, U. Georgia Red and Black
A recently approved independent-study course may help quench the recent thirst to learn more about national security. "Terrorism and U.S. National Security," a new course being offered by the University System of Georgia Independent and Distance Learning (IDL), will explore terrorist activities, methods of operation and their effect on the American society. The course will be taught by Larry Elowitz, a Carl Vinson professor of political science and public administration at Georgia College & State University (GC & SU) in Milledgeville.
