E-learning takes Wallace classes online - Tracie Troha, Selma Times-Journal
As the Internet continues to grow, many colleges and universities have been tapping into its resources for use as an educational tool. Wallace State Community College, Selma is now following that lead with its new E-Learning courses. "This is an opportunity for students who can't come to campus to take advantage of our services," said Veronica Chesnut, director of Technology Centers at WCCS. Music appreciation has been offered online for two years and became so popular, WCCS opened more sections. This month, two English composition courses were added, with even more courses slated for the summer semester.
