Potential release of Pace University teacher evaluations becomes heated topic - Tori Toth
At the November 15th assembly of the Dyson School of Art and Sciences, the issue of making teacher evaluations public by creating a website that displays them was presented by the Student Government Association (SGA), and by Ericka Acosta, the Chairperson of professor evaluations and the Vice President of CSIS. The proposal quickly became a heated debate among the crowd of faculty and staff in a packed Lecture Hall West. Teachers had mixed emotions regarding the release of the evaluations, as some felt that they would be embarrassed in front of their peers.
