Online learning gets a boost - STEVE KUCHERA, NEWS TRIBUNE
Students at Lake Superior College who take their courses online can now take their degrees with them darn near anywhere. The Higher Learning Commission recently authorized the school to offer any of its degree programs via the Internet. Such accreditation is vital when students try to transfer their credits and degrees from the two-year college to four-year colleges and universities. Lake Superior College is the first public college in Minnesota to receive such broad accreditation for online degrees.
