U. of Wisconsin Will Develop Online Advanced-Placement Courses for High-School Students - DAN CARNEVALE, the Chronicle
The University of Wisconsin at Madison plans to develop online advanced-placement courses for Wisconsin high-school students. The courses should be available next fall. Over the next year, the university will create online versions of advanced-placement courses and train high-school teachers on how to administer them. The online format is meant to help rural and inner-city students who go to high schools that do not provide advanced-placement courses.
