Distance education to help graduate students - Pete Elsasser, Kansas State Collegian
Two K-State faculty members have been instrumental in developing a program to help graduate students complete degrees with courses from multiple universities. Virginia Moxley, associate dean of the College of Human Ecology, and Sue Maes, senior development officer in the Regents Educational Communications Center, have helped to develop the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance, or GPIDEA. GPIDEA is an inter-institutional distance education program for graduate programs and degrees.
