Sweetland ...It appears that, while we are in fact migrating to electronic formats for a growing part of our collections, we are not treating these formats with the same care as we have the paper materials. We are not truly making either subscription or cancellation decisions on journals; we are relying on the stability of coverage, and of the existence of a very dynamic set of systems. And, in the process, we are investing a very large amount of money (at least some of which is coming from cancellation or non-purchase decisions of more traditional formats)....
