Despite our eagerness for speedy information transfer and a once-and-for-all answer to the harassing bandwidth dilemma, an end-all solution doesn't seem to be looming on the horizon. Actually, that's not such a bad thing, because when it comes to developing content and delivering e-learning solutions in the face of bandwidth restrictions, best practices are less likely to come in the form of one big answer-like really big pipes-but rather in many smaller ones. The challenges are more about learning to marry the design side of your team with the technology side, analyzing your needs in order to determine the solution that will best meet them, choosing design elements that will give the greatest return for the least time/money investment, and knowing how to best deliver the training from point A to point B (or points B through Z, as the case may be)....
