The Texas A&M System Board of Regents will be asked to approve the plan, which is required by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The regents are scheduled to meet Wednesday through Friday in College Station. Texas A&M already offers distance courses over the Internet and a television network that links universities throughout the system. The new plan will lead to expanded offerings, mostly in the education college, said Leo Sayavedra, the system’s vice chancellor for academic and student affairs....
