http://itmatters.com.ph/news/news_08022002d.html Philippine Schools urged to form consortia to push e-learning The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is urging colleges and universities to form consortia for the promotion and development of e-learning in the Philippines. In a press conference yesterday at the Manila Hotel in Roxas Boulevard, CHED commissioner Ma. Cristina D. Padolina said the sharing of resources among higher education schools in the country is very important to propel the growth of e-learning in the country. She noted that it is very expensive for individual schools to start their e-learning programs.
