Typical pronouncements by gurus on the subject suggest a massive paradigm shift that will sweep away conventional learning and replace it with a more cost-effective system that is available at my space, my pace, just in time and just for me. A pervasive error consists of seeing the technology as a way to improve the practices of contemporary school. In fact the technology makes them obsolete....
